This website does not store any personal data (except log files). To further strengthen privacy, we have removed “Google Analytics” andthe “Like” buttons from Facebook. If you choose to watch youtube videos cited here, of youtube will of course know your IP.
For all accesses to the website, the time and the IP address are stored in a log file. “Cookies” are not used to store any related personal data.

Messages to tocotrienole.com, by email or through forms, are treated like personal emails, i.e. confidential. On tocotrienole.com you also have the opportunity to comment or ask a question on the page. If you write a comment, we will assume that you want to see the text published as a discussion. This only happens after verification and activation. Published comments are marked with the "Name" field. Choose a pseudonym if you don't want to reveal your real name. The email address will never be published or passed on.
Server and log files:
Our Internet server is located in Germany by the company Hetzner Online GmbH,Gunzenhausen. Thanks to our contracts with this company, your data is safe from unauthorized access.
As on all Internet servers, all access to our websites is stored in a “log file” for a limited time. However, this only affects the time, IP address and the page accessed. The IP addresses will be anonymized or deleted after 7 days at the latest. A transfer of this data is excluded unless there is a legal obligation in accordance with Article 6 Paragraph 1 Letter c GDPR (for example to prosecute illegal acts).
Information and deletion

Statistics and social networks website
Almost all sites on the Internet use Google Analytics services to track visitor development. Although this is also allowed with the new GDPR, we have decided to stop using Google's services as an experiment. The same applies to Facebook's "Like" buttons. This would also be allowed, but Facebook would then know the behaviour of all visitors on practically all websites. We have therefore abolished the like buttons.
This means that the large data collectors from the USA now have more information about the websites you visit.

We only process and use your personal data as part of the fulfillment of the contract in accordance with Article 6 GDPR. We also ensure that we only provide the minimum amount of personal data necessary for the business relationship. In general, the following applies: The legal basis for obtaining consent is Article 6 Paragraph 1 lit GDPR, the legal basis for the protection of our legitimate interests is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR. In the event that the vital interests of the data subject or the natural person make a processing of personal data necessary, then Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. d GDPR as the legal basis.
According to Art. 77 GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority.
You have the right to revoke your consent in accordance with Article 7 Paragraph 3 of the GDPR with effect for the future.
Security measures
In accordance with Art. 32 GDPR, we take appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure a level of protection appropriate to the risk, taking into account the state of the technology, the implementation costs, the type, scope, circumstances and purposes of the processing as well as the different probability of occurrence and severity of the risk for the rights and freedoms of natural persons.
