Market overview tocotrienols - price comparison with price per actual content

Tocotrienols are offered in capsules or liquid or in cooking oils. The usual portals (e.g. Idealo, Google) are largely worthless for price comparisons, as the quantities included are not taken into account. What good is a cheaper capsule with much less content? That's why I took the trouble to list the prices per mg of tocotrienol.

here is the table As of June 1, 2025

This table contains all products with the price per 100 mg tocotrienol. Some of the products contained too much alpha-tocopherol - in quantities that prevented the effectiveness. These are listed in the block below (“Not recommended”).

In our own area there are cooking oils that contain plenty of tocotrienol. If you subtract the prices for the oil itself, the prices are often even cheaper than in the other food supplements.

Market events: Since the last version, a number of products have become more expensive, even significantly. There are some new products and some products have disappeared from the market.

Some new products in capsules have slightly too high amounts per capsule. This means that division during the day is no longer possible. Tocotrienols have a half-life of 3-5 hours and are better taken in two (or more) parts/day.

New is an annatto extract, which in addition to the tocotrienolsn also contains the same amount GG (geranylgeraniol) contains (but comes from the same plant, Bixa orellana).

Also new: in the “seen in” column there are now links directly to the offer.

In addition to capsules, concentrates and cooking oils with tocotrienol, there is also something new: tocotrienols as a spray, for example to be sprayed directly into the mandibular cavity or over the food.

Do you offer tocotrienols and can't find your product in the list? Please send a message with the link to the sales offer to info@tocotrienole.com. We include all offers on the market in this list - with the exception of obvious remaining stock and special offers (the quality and best before date are questionable).

Didn't find a (cheap) offer in the list? Please send a message with the link to the sales offer to info@tocotrienole.com

How do you compare yourself? If you find an offer that you can get cheaply, you can also compare it yourself with the entries in the table. That's what we have for here at comparison calculator programmed. All you have to do is read the data from the label and enter it into the form. How to calculate "by hand" is at the bottom.

About the columns in the table:

originsland: de, nl etc: country of origin where the product is manufactured (stricter regulations in Germany)
origin
: P=from palm fruit, A=from annatto (without alpha-tocopherol), rice=from rice bran
Number of units/container
: how many units (capsules or daily quantities) are included in the stated price
Price/unit: how much does a capsule cost (in liquid products per 100 mg)
mg T3/EH: how many mg ra tocotrienol are in a capsule/dose unit (from the manufacturer’s information)
Price/100mg T3 (orange): the final price for 100 mg tocotrienols
Special features: Additional information e.g. unresponsive shops, additional ingredients. The addition of tocopherol is noted because it hinders the effect of the tocotrienol. Addition of Emulsifiers is noted where known because these can affect the intestinal function.

Note: The prices were queried on the Internet and converted into euros in foreign currencies (USD,GBP) at the time of recording. The quantities were taken from the product descriptions, some were requested in writing and then converted into ra tocotrienols (prices including VAT and excluding shipping costs). Errors excepted.

If you would like to be included in this list as a manufacturer, please send us a message with the link to your sales offer indicating the quantity included (ra tocotrienols). I accept all offers, except remaining stock/special offers.

If you discover a new entrant or the advertised price, please send a message.

Instructions for calculating a self-found offer in the comparison table(how do you calculate the price for 100 mg tocotrienols?).

Look for the contents on the label and only count the tocotrienols per capsule - it is often also stated. Attention, sometimes the information is per 2 capsules (daily recommendation). The result is usually something around 50 mg to 125 mg. If you take the times the number of capsules on offer, then you have the amount of T3 offered (e.g. 60 times 50 mg = 3000 mg).

Then divide the price by the result above (for example 35.99 euros /3000 = 0.01199) - this is the price per mg. This is the comparison price in the table, per 100 mg T3. (in example 1.19 euros per 100 mg).

A can of capsules with 60 capsules of 50 mg each costs 35.99 euros per 100 mg. This can be compared with the orange column in the table.

Some capsules also contain other ingredients that can justify a higher price. For example, vitamin C acts as a subsequent step in the removal of radicals and regenerates vitamin E. Then pay attention to the amount (if it is significant or not).

Is there too much alpha-tocopherol in it? This also happens often. Take the sum of the tocotrienols PLUS the sum of the tocopherols asdivider. The percentage of tocopherol is then the tocopherols divided by these divisors. If it comes out over 27% (0.27), the tocopherol must be classified as high.
